Wendy Richard, the actress most famous for her EastEnder role,died this morning after a year-long battle with cancer. This was her third fight with cancer, with a final record of 2-1.

Donglu Fan had a great idea on how to cut down his expenses… on paper. He organized a contest for five beautiful young ladies, with the winner to become his mistress. The contests included singing, modeling and drinking tests for his secret lovers.
Fan said that because of the rough economic times, he needed to cut his five mistresses down to just one. He simply couldn’t afford them all anymore.

Fifty years ago today, in a cold, snow filled cornfield in Iowa, rock ‘n’ roll suffered a terrible blow with it’s first major tragedy.
The small plane carrying Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper crashed just northwest of Mason City, Iowa, killing all three plus the pilot, Roger Peterson, whose inexperience very likely was the cause.
Today, most young people know this event as “the day the music died,” a line from “American Pie,” Don McLean’s popular 1971 song about the tragedy.

Any skydivers out there? I’ve been, and I want to go again. However, when I jump, I jump with a static line, and not this tandem stuff that many people do. I’ve always had this thought that “If I’m strapped to the guy that knows what we’re doing, what happens if he dies? Never happen, right?
Wrong. It happened.
A guy on his first jump was strapped to the instructor, and the instructor had a massive heart attack on the way down. “Man, I should have done this years ago… it surfe is quiet and peaceful up here.
